The bar bistro located in Batam, an industrial boomtown, an emerging transport hub, and part of a free trade zone in the Indonesia, was created to understand the nightlife entertainment industry.
The interior features warm rustic vibes that emit from the perforated metal panel board, re-bar dividers and hanging beer drums. There is a large feature panel installation using beer bottles to replicate the identity of the bar bistro. Additionally, there is a visually playful outlook of the bathrooms which brings in bolder colours and vibrancies.
This whole design sets a memorable space with an industrial aesthetic blended with artistic touches and subtle ornamentation. The interior's mechanical elements are structural while quirky touches like screed rendered walls give the space more raw and concrete personality.
